Weddings...whew

Everyone talks about the super fun time wedding planning is. And they are so right.

But no one talks about the tough things... the getting two new, totally different families together, and not only together, but to agree. and get along.
What should each side pay for? What should each side be in charge of? When you have several different groups of friends, what parties does each group throw? Do you ask them to throw these parties or do you just wait and hope they all figure it out? These are the things that can be read about on theknot.com, but its not the same for every family.

My recommendation is this: BREATHE! and rely on your partner to vent to. :)
That was the best advice I got at the beginning of planning. "Keep in mind, the ultimate goal is that you will be married."
Wedding planning isn't 100% easy, and it isn't all glamorous. But it is all on the road to an amazing result- being married to an amazing man.

A friend of Jon's, a guy no doubt, told me that the second its all over, you wish you had some of that money  back. So jon and I are going to focus on the important things- a good time and all the people we want there. A great plan, I think.

Much time is spent thinking about the wedding these days. Will keep you posted.
