Weddings are an incredibly fun but busy time! As most of you know, I am gettin' hitched in late september. I was perusing the news this morning and came across some interested wedding tidbits. Let's just say, we are NOT average. ;)

Tying the knot

$26,984 average wedding cost
140 average number of guests
13.7 average number of months couples are engaged
29 the bride's average age
31 the groom's average age
41 percent of couples marry in summer
30 percent of couples choose fall
$1,099 average cost of wedding gown
$5,392 average cost of the engagement ring

I am curious to know, for those of you who are also getting married, is this where your wedding falls?
I swear, add the words "Wedding" or "baby" onto the back of any phrase and you automatically get to add at least 2 zero's to the price.
